AboutMe

My name is Michał (Misha) Szulczewski. I was born in 1990 in Poland. My adventure with graphic arts started when I was looking for something between art and business. A graphic design is much more than visual impressions: it means also a market study as well as learning about marketing strategies and cultural keys.

After I started my studies at the Warsaw University of Technology, it turned out that not everything works like it is in books. After my attempts to take first jobs, I was disappointed because it turned out that academic theories are not put into practice. I was inexperienced and my ideals were shattered, so, all distraught, I set out on a journey. While traveling around Poland and Europe I found out that while making decisions people are often motivated by emotions and their own experience rather than guided by logic and best solutions which they chose on the basis of selection. Everyone has their own sense of style and a different world view. I went back to my home city, Warszawa, and I began to be active in the public sector (Open Library Association, in Polish: BOS - Stowarzyszenie Biblioteka Otwarta). In this community of active people I realized what my passion is and since then I am on this road. I am a guy who creates graphic designs for people with emotions and individual sense of style, mission or purpose.

Graphic design is not the only one of my strengths: I can schedule my time well, I regularly develop my skills, I am geared towards the execution of specific goals and you can count on me. To optimize my work I became a master of time scheduling. My method of scheduling time allows me not only to work quickly and efficiently but also to find solutions for difficult tasks and new projects.

Graphic design is for me only one of many elements of a creative process. At the beginning there is contact with a customer, finding what they really need, getting familiar with project environment, introducing changes, sometimes raising my qualifications, and many other aspects that are part of my work and contribute to customer satisfaction.

I value my time just as my customers value theirs.
